Mission Statement
The National Intercollegiate Flying Association was formed for the purposes of developing and advancing aviation education; to promote, encourage and foster safety in aviation; to promote and foster communications and cooperation between aviation students, educators, educational institutions and the aviation industry; and to provide an arena for collegiate aviation competition.

Judge Availability & Preferences

  • Please let us know if you will be able to help out at this competition. If you do not yet know your schedule, please select "Maybe" and fill out the requested data as best you can. We understand schedules can change and we will accommodate your schedule and availability.

    Please let us know if you have any specific judging requests or restrictions such as limited time outdoors.
  • Please let us know what judging positions you are interested in. We will review your judging records and try to accommodate your requests. Please understand that we may not be able to accommodate all of your requests.
  • Please indicate if you can be outdoors or need and indoors job. Outdoors jobs can involve being on the ramp or along the runway for up to approx. 10 hours at a time in widely varying weather conditions. Food, water, refreshments, and restrooms or restroom breaks are provided for all judging positions.
  • This does not commit you to driving to a checkpoint. If you do not want to drive to a checkpoint, please select "No."
