Eric is originally from Denver, CO and currently resides in Rossville, TN.  He competed for Metropolitan State College of Denver from 1993-1996, has judged since 1998 and has served as the National SAFECON Chief Judge in 2005 and 2009, as well as decades of service as a Regional SAFECON Chief Judge.  He has attended 78 SAFECONS - 7 as a competitor and 70 as a judge.  

Professionally, Eric is an Aircraft Dispatcher for FedEx.  He holds Aircraft Dispatcher and Commercial ASEL certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

When not working or volunteering for NIFA, Eric enjoys spending time and taking trips with his wife, Renae and 7 year-old daughter, Addison (who has now been to 3 NIFA events with her Dad.)
