Jeff is originally from Tulsa, OK, and currently resides in Carlsbad, CA.  He competed for Oklahoma State University from 1973-1975 and 1977, and coached at San Diego Christian College 2019.  He has judged the AA Safety Award for multiple years, Region II CRM since 2010, and judged various positions at the National SAFECON level.  

Professionally, Jeff is a retired American Airlines Captain, retired USAFR C-141 Aircraft Commander, and currently instructs at LOFT, Carlsbad, CA.  He holds ATP-AMEL and Commercial ASEL certificates and is type rated in the L-300, DC-9, B-737, B-777, CE-525.
