Richard resides in Washington, MO.   He has been judging since 2014 and has served as the 2017-2020 National SAFECON Safety Judge and 2021 & 2022 Region IV Chief Judge.

Professionally, Richard is retired.  He earned a Ph.D. in Aviation, M.S. in Aviation Safety, and B.S. in Aero Operations.  He is also an ASQ Quality Auditor and ASQ Quality Engineer. He holds ATP-AMEL, Commercial ASEL, CFII, MEI, AGI, A&P, and Remote Pilot certificates. 

In his free time, Richard enjoys being a Viking Ocean Cruises Enrichment Speaker. Volunteer at Wings of Hope at KSUS.
