COVID-19

NIFA Family,
In light of recent global events, we wanted to reach out to our member schools, sponsors, volunteers, and competitors. Please be assured that NIFA is monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and we are evaluating steps for the best interest of our organization and SAFECON 2020.
NIFA continues to watch the evolution of the situation and we will report to you as time progresses. SAFECON 2020 begins May 18, 2020 which allows time for the containment and abatement efforts of the United States Government, Center for Disease Control (CDC), and World Health Organization (WHO) to take effect.
We are scheduled to meet in late March with the host organization, Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), and this will be at the forefront of our discussions. We are also developing contingency plans.
We will continue to communicate with each of you and appreciate your patience during this time. We also encourage you to follow the CDC guidelines in your daily lives and stay safe!
